In the 1980's a revolution occurred in European ice climbing. Two of the leaders were Francois Damilano and the late Godefroy Perroux. Their playground was the Oisans aux six vallees near Briancon. This is the first volume of their guidebook to the marvellous ice and mixed routes of all grades found here.
