The Freino is an autolocking Karabiner with additional braking spur, especially designed for use with a Gri-Gri.

The rope can easily be placed into the spur one-handed without the need to open the karabiner, providing extra friction. This makes descending and using 10mm ropes much less fraught.

The karabiner itsself has a keylock nose (snag free) and a twist-lock mechanism (never forget to fasten a screwgate again!).
