A wild and funny week in the company of Britain's top alpanist, Andy Kirkpatrick. This film looks into his warped mentality whilst providing a master class in climbing Scottish snow and ice in marginal conditions.
A compelling film exploring the many different games played out on Britains diverse crags. For me the footage of Dave Thomas swimming up crumbling sea cliffs makes this series of short films a must. This footage proves enjoyable to watch, but doesn’t inspire me to go out and risk my life in quite the same way. However, I did find the portrayal of Steve McClure’s battle to complete his masterpiece ‘Overshadow’ truly inspiring. Whether you’re a committed adventure climber, love clipping shiny new bolts, or never venture out without your bouldering pad this film has something for everyone. Will
