DMM's big pad, the Highball uses a sandwich foam construction. The top and bottom layers are high density with a soft core layer. This produces better shock absorbtion on, you guessed it, falls from highballs.

This pad has an unusual hinge, effectively it is two pads held together with a very strong tape hinge. This means the pad is surprisingly easy to fold and should have a longer life.

Like the other DMM pads it comes complete with a carpet square (in it's own special pocket) for cleaning your rock shoes. You get a comfortable, removable rucksack style carrying system, alloy buckles and flaps to hold the pad closed and keep your kit inside when walking to the boulders.

If you need a launch pad or extra padding the DMM Spot is designed to fit inside the Highball.
