The Montrail Highlander is a lightweight running shoe for everything from trails to serious fell-running. These were tested by one of our staff on the "Bob Graham Round".

Tough mesh upper with webbing supports, allows maximum drainage but stops grit from entering the shoe.
Low rounded heel for "bare foot" like support. A racing flat with Gryptonite lugs.
Close to the foot fit for off-angle control. Low volume toe and instep with a tight heel pocket.
