In a nutshell, the foam usually associated with a high-end harness is missing. That foam in all previous harnesses acted to spread the load. However, in this harness the Weft fibres are removed and the longer Warp fibres in the belt are fanned out right to the seam allowances. This means the belt is truly load bearing across the whole width. To shave weight to an outrageous degree the leg loops on the S240 are load bearing mesh. Losing the padding leaves a very slimline, mobile, and super comfortable sport climbing harness.

The revolutionary construction means this is is a super packable piece of kit. On Durability the Schoeller is incredibly durable and field tested on the Nameless Tower, where the 40 + pitches didn't mark it!! Finally you can remove and flip the gear loops if you prefer them to be front or rear loading.

This harness, the S240 is the ultra light stripped down sport harness, two gear loops and mesh legs. S stands for sport, 240 is the weight in grams

If you want a more all round harness look at the R320 for men or the R280 for women.

Remember that the waist-belt should sit "above" your hips and be tight enough that the harness cannot be pulled down.
