Gone are the days of hanging your expensive rucksack over the edge of the rock, to protect your rope from wear over sharp edges.

The Spiroll protects fixed ropes from abrasion and sharp edges, it is easy to place (and remove) by simply wrapping around the rope. Once fitted it provides a snug fit exactly where needed, with no need to tie off. At 60cm the Spiroll should give sufficient protection in most instances, but two or more can be overlaped if additional coverage is needed.

Uses include: protecting static top-rope anchors, abseiling/caving ropes and protecting from accidental ice axe strikes. Can also be cut with sissors and then used to protect ice screws.
